Bernera offers social activities and friendly groups, so get involved and join, or perhaps start your own!

The Bowls Club

Meets every Tuesday 1.45pm to 4pm in the main hall. Tea break at 3pm.

New members are encouraged. If you have never played before but want to give it a go, come along – bowls and equipment are provided. Age and ability are not an issue as everyone is made welcome. Flat soled shoes are a requirement on the bowling mats. A small charge of £2 per session is made to cover hall rental and equipment.

The Allsorts Club

Meets every Wednesday 2-4pm in the small hall (accessed through the door on the North end of the community centre). This a friendly, social group where everyone is welcome for chat, home baking, drinks and activities including board games. Take part in as much or as little as you want, bring your own recreation, or ideas for all to take part in. A small charge of £2 per session is made to cover hall rental, club equipment and towards outings. The club have occasional trips out for lunch, afternoon teas or visits to places of interest. A great place to meet old and new friends in a relaxed atmosphere.
